Camryn Bockelmann

Pediatric and Adolescent Speech Language Pathologist

Camryn Bockelmann, MA, CCC-SLP, graduated from the University of Kansas in 2023 with a Master's degree in speech language pathology where her passion for connecting with individuals with developmental and acquired disabilities was ignited. Early on in graduate school, Camryn learned the immense power of AAC to promote autonomy, independence, and connection to oneself and others which led her to pursue it as a specialty area. To further expand on her passion of AAC, Camryn completed her clinical fellowship year at the University of Wisconsin Waisman Center Communication Aids and Systems Clinic where she provided neurodiversity affirming AAC evaluations and intervention across the lifespan in outpatient, inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, and school settings. Camryn's therapeutic philosophy is rooted in presuming competence in her clients, sharing joy, and building connections with them and their families/caregivers. In her free time, Camryn enjoys being active, spending time outside, and exploring new restaurants with her friends and family.
