Brookes Barrack, MS CCC-SLP

Brookes Barrack, MS CCC-SLP, founded KC:DT in 2009 and has over 20 years of experience working with children and teens with a variety of speech and language needs. She is one of only two therapists in Kansas and Missouri to hold an Expert DIR® certificate from the Interdisciplinary Council on Development and Learning. Brookes is passionate about neurodiversity-affirming, relationship-based care and frequently teaches courses and presents on developmental approaches. She is married and a mom of three.

Emily Tritz, OTD, OTR/L

Emily Tritz, OTD, OTR/L, graduated from Creighton University in 2002 with a Clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. She is one of only two Expert DIR®-certified practitioners in Missouri and Kansas and also holds a Profectum Academy Fellows Certificate. Emily has extensive experience working with children with sensory processing differences and Autistic children across a variety of pediatric settings, and frequently teaches courses and presents on developmental approaches. She is married and a mom of three.
