Lisa Soleymani-Alizadeh

Lisa completed her master’s degree in clinical psychology in 2013 from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She has over a decade of experience providing diverse mental health support and therapy to children, parents, and adults in multiple settings including hospitals, schools, intensive outpatient treatment centers and private practice. Lisa has a passion for experiential and play-based therapies to support children and families’ nervous system, attachment, felt sense of safety, and connection. Lisa has completed specialized training in interpersonal neurobiology, DIR/Floortime, EMDR therapy, attachment theory, complex trauma, perinatal mental health, trauma-informed care and equine-assisted psychotherapy. Lisa has a passion for providing neuroaffirming, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and culturally humble therapy and integrates these philosophies in her daily life personally and professionally. Outside of work, Lisa loves spending time with her family including her two children in nature with their horse, ponies, donkeys, goats, cats, and dog.
