Sophie Roggermeier

Pediatric and Adolescent Speech Language Pathologist

Sophie Roggermeier, M.S., CCC-SLP completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. She moved to Kansas City to be near friends in 2023 and loved it so much that she has made KC her home. Sophie began her therapy career in schools, working with children of all ages in the Atlanta and Kansas City areas, focusing on gestalt language processing, child-led therapy, and augmentative and alternative communication methods. She believes in taking the time to find a child’s special interests and utilizing a neurodiversity-affirming approach with goal-writing, treatment, and caregiver communication. Sophie looks forward to supporting children’s literacy skills more strongly now that she is in a clinic setting. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies, reading, crafting, and going on walks around her neighborhood in midtown KC.
